Mote Ranch is a wonderful community located a couple miles north of the ever-growing area of University Parkway. University parkway hosts some of the areas finer restaurants and more modern retail centers. University Parkway is the location of a very large higher end shopping mall including anchor retail stores such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s. I like to call Mote Ranch a “spoiler” location due to the fact that just about any shopping or dining need can be met within a few miles of the Mote Ranch community. Also, homes for sale in Mote Ranch offer easy access to I-75, and within a 15 minute drive to downtown Sarasota, and of course the beautiful Sarasota beaches!

This area has beautiful lakes, well-preserved conservation areas, and also features a kayak launch and dock located along the Braden River. It’s a well-manicured area, and offers sidewalks, a beautiful fishing area, and a small recreation center. Residents can enjoy the community heated pool, basketball court, and a playground area for the kids.
No! This is a big selling point to living in Mote Ranch. The taxes in this area is more affordable compared to areas such as Lakewood Ranch.
