About 50% the sales we make are with Sarasota new home construction. We are in constant communication with local and national builder representatives daily. We tour new construction communities, attend gran opening events, and build relationships with the local builders.
Some buyers do not realize how wise it is to work with an agent even though they are interested in new construction. Dealing with the builder directly seems easy enough, but keep in mind they are only interested in selling their community products. They will not educate you to the overall market. Also, we know what incentives the builders are willing to offer buyers. Each builder is different, and many don’t offer extra incentives unless they know there is an agent involved working with several builders.
