The population was 74,793 in 2020. North Port has about 80 miles of freshwater canals and some saltwater canals as well. Warm Mineral Springs located in North Port is the only natural warm spring in Florida, with a consistent average temperature of 85 degrees year-round, Warm Mineral Springs Park provides visitors with several therapeutic options. The North Port Art Center offers art classes and workshops for families, teens, and adults, taught by dedicated experienced artists. North Port Skate Park is a 14,000 sq. ft. skating facility comprised of concrete bowls, ramps, jumps, and rails. The Skate Park allows the mixed use of skateboards, bikes, and inline skating.
