Horton’s Emerald Homes brand between 2015 and 2019 on the former Sarasota Golf Club property. Every homesite runs at least an acre, some stretching to 5.5 acres, and many mature trees from the old fairways were preserved during development. Sizes run 2,500 to 4,400 square feet, three to five bedrooms, three-car garages standard, built to structural cement tile roofs and storm-rated windows and doors.
No CDD applies here, and the community skips clubhouse-style amenities on purpose, which keeps HOA fees lower than most comparable gated new construction in the area. Tatum Ridge Elementary, McIntosh Middle, and Sarasota High serve the neighborhood. You’re close to UTC Mall, about 8 miles from downtown Sarasota, and roughly 11.5 miles from Siesta Key Beach.
