Siesta Village is a favorite destination with over 100 stores, cafes, souvenir shops and active sports enthusiasts will find rental services for bikes, paddleboards, kayaks and more. May through October, visitors have the opportunity to observe Loggerhead Turtles as they nest on the dry sand of Turtle Beach. After 2 months, turtles no more than a few inches in size and only guided by the water and moon make their way to the ocean. Crescent Beach is a lovely spot for a quiet getaway and is adjacent to Point of Rocks, a popular destination for snorkeling. Downtown Sarasota has galleries, museums, parks, gardens and performing arts.
