All ages enjoy the early morning sunsets before fishing in the the warm turquoise water. The calm waters provide the best snorkeling for observing colorful coral, fish, shells and other forms of marine life. There is very little parking so the beach does not get busy. Siesta Village is close to the beach and a great place for exploring the many variety of shops, take in a snack and dine at the local seafood restaurant. It is only short drive over the South Bridge to Downtown Sarasota where you can experience art galleries, museums, take in a performance at one of the theaters, stroll along the park and marina.
