The community offers great schools including Southside Elementary, Brookside Middle and Sarasota High School. Membership in the South Gate Community Assn is optional. Residents will be sure to enjoy the 5 acre grounds studded with slumbering oaks on the banks of Phillippi Creek. As of 2019, social membership is currently just $75 per year and pool membership is an additional $150 per year. Its a truly awesome location convenient to shopping, schools, restaurants, and the Sarasota Memorial Medical complex. Of course, it’s just a short drive to Award winning Siesta Beach, the bay front and the thriving Downtown Sarasota area.
